We strongly recommend it. A water test takes the guesswork out of choosing the right system and ensures you're treating the actual problems in your water — not just guessing.
We offer several water testing options at every budget:
- General Mineral Analysis — $39 — our professional lab test measuring iron, manganese, hardness, TDS, pH, ORP, and tannins. A great low-cost starting point for well water or city water concerns.
- At-home test kits — fast, easy results you can do yourself for common issues like hardness, iron, and chlorine.
- Certified lab testing — for a full certified analysis with fast turnaround, we recommend our SimpleLab Essential Well Water Tests.
If you're on city water, your municipality is required to provide a free CCR report (Consumer Confidence Report — an annual summary of what's detected in your tap water) every year. Our WQA-certified specialists can help you read it and recommend the right solution for your home and budget.
